| A Harvard University Conference on Urban Planning & Designing sponsored by the Dubai Municipality that took place recently in Dubai, "praised the efforts of the public and private sectors" for being responsible for the development of ambitious projects in the city. "Monica Serageldin, of the Harvard GSD, spoke about the Dubai International Award for Best Practices (DIBP), enphasising the award's role in improving the living environment of people around the world, and reinforcing Dubai's image as a global partner in promoting best practices.
